The Federal Aviation Administration has confirmed two planes collided near McKinney, resulting in “at least two fatalities.”

According to the FAA, the collision happened just after 5:30 p.m. Saturday, near Aero Country Airport.

“We are hearing at least two fatalities,” said the FAA.

“Both aircraft were flying under Visual Flight Rules and were not in contact with air traffic control at the time of the collision,” the FAA told EverythingLubbock.com.
