AUSTIN (KXAN) — As IHOP launched its new burger menu with the marketing campaign of changing the “p” to a “b,” fast food chains across the country are quick with the jokes.
Texas’ own Whataburger tweeted: “As much as we love our pancakes, we’d never change our name to Whatapancake.”
Meanwhile, Wendy’s replied to a customer’s tweet with: “Not really afraid of the burgers from a place that decided pancakes were too hard.” Way to clap back, Wendy’s.
IHOP’s main rival, Denny’s also threw some shade with a tweet referencing “the Great Burger Wars.”
