Around 3:30 p.m. Thursday an industrial accident took a man’s life according to Lubbock Police. A man fell about three stories from scaffolding at 1209 Broadway Street.
The man was a painter and his co-worker was with him but on the ground at the time of the accident.
Victim was taken to UMC to be treated for serious injuries and later was confirmed that he did not survive.
Police said the victim’s death was being investigated as an accident. A name and a police report had not yet been released as of Thursday evening.
