The FBI issued a statement Thursday afternoon after the theft of a ballistic vest and other property in Lubbock.
The statement is as follows:
The Dallas Division of the FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the recovery of property and equipment stolen from a government vehicle in Lubbock, Texas. The property was taken from an FBI agent’s vehicle parked in a hotel parking lot at 4011 South Loop 289 in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 16, 2016. Among the property stolen was a ballistic vest, tools, and other equipment. No weapons or credentials were taken.
