HOUSTON (KXAN) — A sergeant with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office was hospitalized after touching a flier that had fentanyl on it.

HCSO says the fliers were placed on the windshields of several department vehicles Tuesday afternoon at its office on Lockwood Drive in east Houston.

KPRC reports the sergeant took the flier off her vehicle and headed home but felt ill while she was en route.

The fliers have a logo with the website TargetedJustice.com. The flier starts with the message that reads: The FBI is lying to you. The flier goes on to talk about the FBI watch list and how people are being tortured with “microwaves and gangstalking.”

Another side of the flier shows you how to detect the microwave being used to track people.

Only one department employee is reported to have touched it. In a tweet, the agency is asking if anyone sees the fliers to not touch them.

Law enforcement agencies across the country have changed their protocol on how they handle fentanyl. The dangerous drug can get into the body just through contact with the skin.
