Police arrested Donavan Casias, 17, after a fight in Maxey Park Friday afternoon. In addition to the original fight in the park, he was also accused of hitting a police officer in the face.  Officers were dispatched about 2:00 pm.

Three eyewitnesses said the fight then led to a car chase which ended in a crash. However, police said it was not a chase.  One of the persons from the park drove away and crashed at 3200 Peoria Avenue.

A photojournalist at the scene noticed a person being taken from the scene by EMS. The injuries did not appear to be serious.
