The Lubbock Food Truck Alliance is holding a food truck festival on March 25, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to benefit the Lubbock Aquarium. The event will be held in the Lowe’s Home Improvement Parking Lot at 5022 W. Loop 289.
To assist in the Lubbock Aquarium’s fundraising efforts, the Lubbock Food Truck Alliance will donate a portion of all funds raised by vendors to the Lubbock Aquarium. There will be multiple food trucks, vendors, face painting, and other fun activities for the kids.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the Lubbock Aquarium from our board members, and meet our volunteers. The Lubbock Aquarium has diligently been working to raise funds to help in bringing an aquarium to the Lubbock area, with plans to directly serve the Panhandle, South Plains, Permian Basin, West Central Texas residents, and visiting tourists. The aquarium is currently in the development stage of the project, and will continue raising funds through the Voyage to Lubbock campaign.
For more event information, the public can visit www.lubbockaquarium.org or follow The Lubbock Aquarium Facebook page for additional updates.
