According to an article published Thursday on miamidolphins.com, former Texas Tech Red Raider Zach Thomas was on the list of nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2017.
Thomas is already inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
Thomas was on a list of 94 nominees which included 45 offensive players, 32 defensive players, six special teams players and 11 coaches according to miamidolphins.com.
“The modern-era nominees will be cut down to 25 semifinalists in November and to 15 finalists in January,” the website said.
