Four men in four separate cases pleaded guilty on Tuesday to attempted enticement of a minor in Lubbock federal court. In no particular order, they were Dustin Mathew Buckaloo, 30, of Lubbock; Mike Lozano, 29, of Lubbock; Danny Caudill, 55, of Lubbock and Patrick Wong, 35, of Lubbock.
In three of the four cases, an undercover officer was posing on the Internet as Myrna – a 14-year-old girl.
Lozano’s case was different. He started by talking with an actual 15-year-old girl but later the account “was taken over by another person.”
In all four cases, the men made arrangements to meet an underage girl for sexual activity. And in all four cases, they were met with law enforcement instead of a young girl.
All of the offense dates were during the summer months of 2016. Each of the four will be sentenced at a later date to at least 10 years in prison. The statutory maximum would be life in prison.
