Four juveniles were taken into custody just after midnight on Oct. 1st, 2016. A Levelland resident called in on the suspicious subjects for being around the South Elementary School after hours. Officers located the subjects and the subject attempted to hide in the front yard of 102 Poplar behind some vehicles.
While the subjects were being interviewed officer checked the area where the subjects were hiding and found 2 soft air BB guns. A 3rd gun was located on one of the juveniles along with a knife. No one was injured and the juveniles were taken to the Law Enforcement Center, charged with a City of Levelland Ordinance Violation and later released to parents.
