Four people were killed in a one vehicle crash Sunday morning in Pecos County.
According to the DPS, the accident occurred on Interstate 10, approximately 31 miles east of Fort Stockton at 10:45 a.m.
Authorities say a Ford Explorer was traveling east on Interstate 10 and suffered a tire blow out. The vehicle traveled into a right broadside skid into the center media. The vehicle then overturned multiple times and came to rest on its roof in the westbound lanes.
The DPS report states the driver and four passengers were killed in the accident. Two other occupants suffered unknown injuries.
Stephanie Ann Garza, 39, Taylor Garza, 18, Peter James Garza, 14, and Jessie Garza, 11, were all pronounce dead at the scene.
Peter William Garza, 38, was transported to Pecos County Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
Samantha Garza, 6, was transported to University Medical Center in Lubbock with unknown injuries.
The Garza family all reside in El Paso.
