LUBBOCK, TX — Fourth on Broadway Festivals announced that all of the 25th anniversary 4th on Broadway events with a few exceptions will be located in Mackenzie Park. On July 3, La Raza on the Plaza and the July 4 Texas Country Street Dance will be at the courthouse grounds.
The parade route for 2015 will start at Broadway Street and Interstate 27. It will then turn onto Canyon Lake Road and follow Cesar E. Chavez Drive up to Highway 82. Public parking will be set up at South Plains Fair Grounds and to the south of the intersection of Broadway Street at Canyon Lake Road.
The parade route in years past has been along Broadway in downtown Lubbock. Organizers said they intend for the new parade route to be a permanent change.
