Madison Rattan, a 2015 graduate of Frenship High School, has been selected by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals as a member of the TASSP All-State Academic Excellence Team. As a member of the TASSP All-State Academic Excellence Team, Rattan will be awarded a $500 scholarship and formally recognized at the TASSP summer workshop in Austin on Thursday, June 11.
This prestigious award was designed to recognize Texas high school seniors for their outstanding academic achievements and the rewards of superior scholarship. Many outstanding senior students were nominated by their high school principals based on their SAT and ACT scores, academic grade point average, pursuit of advanced diploma, and other evidence of exceptional academic ability. From the group of outstanding young scholars, twenty were chosen for the TASSP All-State Academic Excellence Team.
Rattan, who ranked third academically in the FHS Class of 2015, adds this recognition from TASSP to a prestigious list of accolades received during her senior year. She was also named a National Merit finalist by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation,
and she was selected as a candidate in the 2015 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program by the United States Department of Education.
