All four Garth Brooks shows for Lubbock sold out by roughly 11:00 a.m. Friday.
Yes, all four. Varnell Enterprises and the United Spirit Arena both released information Friday morning saying that Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood were adding a second Lubbock show.
Then about a half hour later, another announcement said, “Just added!” – meaning a third show. Then, just a few minutes later, they announced a fourth show.
“Garth Brooks has broken his West Texas/Panhandle record,” a late Friday morning press release said. “The previous record was set in July 1997 with 22,000 tickets sold at Potter County Stadium. Today he has sold over 50,000 tickets for United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock.”
“No seats remain for any of the shows,” it said.
The four shows in Lubbock at the United Spirit Arena are:
- Friday, March 31 — 7:00 pm.
- Saturday, April 1 — 3:00 p.m.
- Saturday, April 1 — 7:00 p.m.
- Sunday, April 2 — 3:00 p.m.
