Members of the local Indian community held a grand opening ceremony Saturday morning for their new temple in South Lubbock.
The Hindu Temple of Lubbock is located at 1400 84th Street.
The Deity Sthapana Ritual was performed by Priest Shri Murali Manohar.
The dream of having a temple in Lubbock was made possible by the dedication and hard work of the entire community and is a successful effort to bring all aspects of Hinduism together.
