The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles return to the big screen, this time with Megan Fox. Super-villian Shredder escapes and teams up with a mad scientist with a plan to rule the world. But the turtles discover the have another world-saving fight on their feet against the notorious Krang. Rated PG-13 and running just less that two hours, you can catch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows at either Cinemark, Alamo, Stars & Stripes and Premiere where it’s also in IMAX.
Rise Academy presents The Purple Celebration, Friday Night at the Civic Center. It’s a tribute to Prince and Marva Collins, and their line to the Academy. A DJ will play the music of Prince and they’ll have video clips and more. You can get your $10 tickets at the Rise Academy, the Eventbrite website, or at the door. The party starts at 8:00 p.m.
And WWE Live returns to Lubbock, Saturday night. A.J. Styles will make his Lubbock debut, and he’ll take on Roman Reigns, Sheamus and Seth Rollings in a Heavyweight Championship four-way match. You’ll also see a Women’s Championship Match, and a lot of your favorite WWE superstars. You can get your tickets through Select-a-Seat, from $108 ringside, to $43 for decent seats, and $21 nosebleeds. And there will be nosebleeds!
