Seniors who enjoy life tend to live longer. A study in the British Medical Journal followed about 10,000 people over the age of 50. It found those who reported enjoying life for a sustained period over several years had greater longevity. 
 
Teenagers who spend too much time watching TV may be at greater risk for obesity, and it turns out the same might be true for smaller devices. A study in the Journal of Pediatrics found about 20-percent of American adolescents spend more than five hours a day on smartphones, tablets, computers, and videogames. Research said those teens are 43-percent more likely to be obese.
 
For people who use the mobile app Pokemon-Go as their daily exercise, it’s probably not enough. The game involves searching for cartoon characters and while a Harvard study said it does improve physical activity, the effect is only moderate and tends to decrease after a few weeks.
