A new study suggested the risk for liver disease and cancer starts in adolescence. Researchers in Sweden studied how body mass index in young teens impacted liver problems as adults. They found obese teens and overweight young men were more likely to develop liver disease than normal weight males.
Mixing energy drinks with alcohol could put users at a higher risk for injury. According to researchers in Canada, the stimulants in energy drinks can mask the effects of booze. People may underestimate how intoxicated they are and possibly drink more or engage in risky behavior.
