A new study has suggested that Zika virus may be linked to brain problems similar to multiple sclerosis. Brazilian researchers reported that some Zika patients demonstrated neurological issues with mobility, vision, memory and cognitive skills. Doctors warn the virus may have different effects on the brain than previously known.

Doctors at Yale said children living in rural areas do not do as well as other children when it comes to pediatric hospitalizations. They reported that kids who live in the country have higher rates of readmission and often have to travel long distances for care.

New data from California researchers on the link between marriage and cancer recovery has suggested that white bachelors have a 24% higher mortality rate than other patients. Unmarried women also had a higher mortality rate than married women.
