They found seniors with an exercise routine, such as walking, not only recovered more quickly but maintained independence better over time.
Doctors reviewing the effects of colonoscopies on older patients said the cancer prevention benefits may diminish after age 75. Researchers looked at more than a million Medicare participants at average risk. They found screenings modestly effective up to age 74.
