Concussions are on the rise among children and teenagers. Researchers from the University of California in San Francisco found a 60% increase in brain injuries from 2007 to 2014. The largest increases were among 10 to 14-year-old children, with boys one and a half times more likely to suffer a concussion. Researchers said the rise may be due to increased participation in youth sports.

Researchers from the University of Southern California looked at more than 5,000 high school juniors and seniors. They found a significant number who are vaping would not have smoked otherwise.
New research has found that immunotherapy drugs could cut the risk of cardiovascular incidents in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. But researchers in Russia have cautioned that immunotherapy could carry complications so it is not for patients with severe disease.
