A new study has shown health warnings on sugar-sweetened beverages, similar to those on tobacco products, may influence whether parents buy the drinks for their kids. University of Pennsylvania researchers found when labels warn of obesity, diabetes and tooth decay, parents are less likely to purchase the drinks.
Foods that contain high amounts of flavonoid, including blueberries, citrus fruit and red wine, may help reduce erectile dysfunction. Research has shown men who eat flavonoid-rich foods just a few times a week combined with exercise can reduce their risk by about 20%.
Girls who live in high poverty Hispanic communities are more likely to receive at least one dose of the HPV vaccine, compared to other groups. HPV causes most cases of cervical cancer. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends girls and boys, ages 11 and 12, get three doses of the vaccine.
