New evidence has suggested that Zika virus can cross through a pregnant woman’s placenta and potentially infect the fetus. Research in The Lancet Infectious Diseases detected the virus in the amniotic fluid of two women, whose babies developed the birth defect microcephaly.

Research from 12 medical centers across the United States has shown that testosterone treatment does improve sexual function for men over 65. The study, published in the New England Journal of Medicine, shows the therapy also improved mood and physical ability.

Babies are likely to be miserable when their teeth are coming in but it shouldn’t actually make them sick. A study in Pediatrics has found that along with irritability, a slight rise in body temperature is a common symptom while teething. But anything over 100.4 degrees is considered a true fever and could be a sign of an illness that would require treatment.
