A new study found women may be at risk of PTSD following a miscarriage or a pregnancy where the baby grows outside of the womb, and the pregnancy must be terminated.  British researchers said four in 10 women in the study met the criteria for PTSD, including re-experiencing their pregnancy loss, nightmares, and flashbacks.
 
New research found not getting enough sleep may cause people to eat more the next day.   Doctors in the U-K looked at 11 previous studies and found sleep deprived people consumed, on average, an extra 385 calories the following day, with much of it coming from higher fat, lower protein foods.
 
Overweight and obesity rates among children rise during the summer break, not during the school year, according a new study from the University of Texas.  Researchers tracked the body mass indexes of over 18,000 early elementary school children for 3 years and found by and large, children gain weight faster during the summer.
