Taking aspirin immediately after a mini stroke can cut the risk of a major stroke. That’s the message from European researchers who found aspirin was most beneficial in the first few weeks after a mini stroke. They also found that aspirin reduced the severity of major strokes.

A new study has shown more than 7 in 10 older adults who suffer hip fractures are not told they have osteoporosis even though that is almost always the case. Doctors said treating more elderly patients with bone-strengthening medications would prevent many re-fractures.

New research in England has suggested that ADHD does not appear for some people until adulthood. In one study, 70% of young adults with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder did not meet the criteria for the disorder during childhood assessments.
