Researchers said an immunotherapy drug could be a game changer for patients who are suffering with a relapse of head and neck cancer. A New England Journal of Medicine study has found more than double the number of patients were alive after taken the drug nivolumab for one year, compared to patients who were treated with chemotherapy. Patients also reported fewer serious side effects.

The cost of treating breast cancer with chemotherapy varies widely, even when the treatments have similar effectiveness, according to new research published in the journal Cancer. The study also found patients are often left with significant out of pocket costs.
