Women with a history of infertility have denser breast tissue than other women. A study in the journal Breast Cancer Research said it may be caused by hormone treatments or it may be from the infertility itself. Dense tissue can be a risk factor for developing breast cancer.

Researchers are a step closer to developing a combined vaccine against both HIV and Hepatitis C. The latest study was presented at the International Liver Congress. It found vaccinating against both diseases at once doesn’t impair the patient’s immune system. More than two million people are infected with both viruses.

People who eat more fast food are exposed to higher levels of a possibly harmful chemical. Phthalates are used in packaging materials and can leach into processed foods. A study at George Washington University has found that those who eat the most fast food can have chemical levels as much as 40% higher than others.
