New research has shown that Alzheimer’s Disease causes different changes in the brains of African-Americans, compared to white Americans of European descent. Scientists at Rush University in Chicago said this finding is significant because it may lead to different treatment for African-American patients.

Children with psychiatric disorders are more likely to have health, financial and social problems as adults, even if their mental health improves. Research completed at Duke University shows those kids have a greater chance of having at least one problem as an adult.

A new study from Northwestern University found the more time you spend on your smartphone, the more likely you are to be depressed. Researchers said the average daily phone usage for depressed people is 68 minutes, compared to only 17 minutes for non-depressed individuals.
