Death rates from Alzheimer’s Disease increased 55-percent over 15 years. That’s according to a new CDC study. Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the US.
Practicing tai chi may help depression. Researchers from Massachusetts General Hospital studied members of Boston’s Chinese community who had mild to moderate depression. They found a 12-week tai chi program significantly reduced depression symptoms.
The American Cancer Society is pushing skin cancer prevention on this Don’t Fry Day. The group warned many people may not use enough sunscreen or re-apply enough. It’s recommended to use an SPF 30 to 50 sunscreen and make sure you reapply at least every 2 hours.
