A new study suggested people with Alzheimer’s disease who experience psychosis are five times more likely to be misdiagnosed. Researchers in Canada said 24 percent of Alzheimer’s cases were misidentified, with as many false positives as false negatives.
The age of the male partner may have more of an impact on women delivering a baby than previously thought. Doctors in Boston looking at in vitro fertilization said the chance of a live birth falls as a man ages and that women between 35 and 40 trying to conceive significantly benefit from a male partner under 30.
Many children with a suspected penicillin allergy may not actually be allergic after all. That’s according to new research published in Pediatrics. Doctors found 100 out of 600 children listed as penicillin allergic may have just had rashes and other symptoms that were misinterpreted.
