A new CDC report found more than 100 million Americans have diabetes or pre-diabetes. The statistics also showed nearly one in four adults with diabetes don’t know they have the condition.   

New research suggested high doses of vitamin D do not reduce the risk of children catching a cold. Scientists in Toronto studied children one to five years old and found routine use of vitamin D did not prevent upper respiratory infections. 

Exercise can help control inflammation. That’s according to a review in a European medical journal which found exercise can boost certain chemicals in the body that block swelling.
