A new study suggested 19 year olds are as sedentary as 60 year olds. Johns Hopkins researchers found physical activity among kids and teens is lower than previously thought. Guidelines recommend children ages 5 to 17 get at least 60 minutes of physical activity each day.
Less teens are vaping. A new government survey showed the number of middle and high school students currently using tobacco products dropped from 2015 to 2016. Researchers credited the decline on fewer teens using e-cigarettes.
Using nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as aspirin or ibuprofen, can improve survival for some colorectal cancer patients. New research from international researchers found colon cancer survivors who take NSAIDs have about a 25 percent reduction in death from all causes.
