A new study in the journal Pediatrics found cannabis use is on the rise among parents with children in the home. Researchers also found an increase in parents who smoke both pot and cigarettes at home, something they said complicates efforts to decrease second-hand smoke exposure.
A new national survey found nearly 40-percent of women are somewhat concerned about having their first OB/GYN exam. Doctors with Orlando Health said talking to an OB/GYN in a non-clinical setting beforehand could help young women overcome that anxiety.
Not all movies with a PG-13 rating are suitable for all teens. Researchers showed 610 parents with kids between the ages of six to 17 clips of flims depicting gun violence. They suggested those films were more appropriate for adolescents who were 15 or older.
