Donating a kidney may not be as risky as doctors once feared.  A review of prior research found donors do not have a greater risk of developing heart disease and diabetes, but they appear to be likelier to experience blood pressure and kidney problems.

A new study suggested the Mediterranean diet can help women using in-vitro fertilization to become pregnant. The diet emphasizes fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as fish and olive oil. 

New research found interrupted sleep may be an early sign of Alzheimer’s. People suffering from the disease often have trouble sleeping through the night. Researchers at Washington University in Saint Louis said this kind of body-clock disruption can start years or even decades before a person’s memory is impaired.
