Scientists in the U.K. developed a new approach to breast cancer research. Doctors mapped breast cancer cell shapes and studying their effects on genes. They believed the research could one day help doctors select the best treatments for breast cancer.
 
Mental health experts are calling for a different approach to preventing childhood mental disorders. They’re recommending more social support for parents, as well as better strategies to help children manage their emotions at school.
 
New research shows normal-weight women should know their risk factors when it comes to colon cancer. Researchers found women with high blood pressure, high levels of glucose and problems with their cholesterol levels were at higher risk for colorectal cancer if they are a healthy weight.
