A new guideline in Canada warned doctors to consider other options before prescribing medical marijuana. The guideline stated there is limited evidence to support the benefits of medical marijuana including pain and nausea relief. Researchers said any possible benefits may even be outweighed by side-effects including dizziness and confusion.
Women who worked as cleaners or regularly use cleaning sprays or products could be putting their lungs at risk. That’s according to researchers in Norway, who say over time, chemicals in those products might cause substantial damage to the airways. They’re encouraged health officials to regulate cleaning products.
Rapid rises in air pollution may be just as bad for your cardiovascular health as constant high levels of pollution. European researchers found the risk of heart attack can more than double after a 24 hour increase the air pollutant nitric oxide.
