A common form of contraception may offer protection against cervical cancer. Brain scans of West Nile patients show evidence of neurological damage years after the original infection from the mosquito-borne virus. Researchers at Baylor College of Medicine said the damage appeared even in patients who experienced mild symptoms or no symptoms at all.
