New research from Columbia University Medical Center finds young adults, especially men, are at greater risk of having a heart attack or stroke. Researchers said that’s because they are unaware of the risk and don’t get treated for their high blood pressure.

The chances a person will end up in a nursing home are much higher than previously thought. A new RAND Corporation study showed 56-percent of older adults will require a nursing home facility during their lifetime.

Italian researchers looked at 26 volunteers with heart risk factors and found dark chocolate enriched with extra virgin olive oil increased good cholesterol and decreased blood pressure.
