Ashlee Bost sees it everyday, children and families needing mental health help. She said nearly 30 million children are diagnosed every year.
“It’s more common than anybody knows,” said Bost.
Bost is a therapist with Covenant Health. She said parents should keep an eye out for any changes. Things like excessive worrying, outbursts of anger, seeing or hearing things, lack of sleep or appetite, and kids who say they want to hurt themselves or others.
“There’s a lot can be done and that’s what I want parents to know, there’s always help that they can get,” said Bost.
