Heartline Expands Beyond Pregnancy Services

Heartline Women’s Clinic is hosting their annual fundraiser dinner and silent auction on Friday, January 29, 2016 at Trinity Church. Brian Fisher, CEO and President of Online for Life, will be the keynote speaker.

Fisher is the author of four books and numerous articles. He started Online for Life to realize his dream of using compassion, truth and business applications to rescue babies. Brian is passionate about his work and delights in knowing his efforts have resulted in a woman choosing life for her unborn baby.

Heartline Executive Director Laura McGrew expressed enthusiasm for Fisher’s presentation, “We are delighted that Brian will be addressing the audience at our event. His passion is to engage both men and women facing an unplanned pregnancy, and dares to share new perspectives of what can be. He also sees the great opportunity for the church to reach out to these individuals with love and compassion. His message will surely include a call to action!”

According to McGrew, “The need for our services continues to remain steady. As long as abortion is readily available to women, we will stand ready to help them explore all their options.”

For the past 20 years, women of all ages and stages of life experiencing an unplanned pregnancy have received support at Heartline. In June 2015, Heartline moved into a renovated house on Broadway, just two blocks from the Texas Tech campus. This new location is strategic to their broader mission of encouraging, empowering, and educating the younger women in this community.

Heartline is partnering with organizations on the Tech campus to offer female students opportunities to experience community in a fun, relaxed environment. This includes Pinterest nights, community groups dealing with current social issues, and other events to be held in the comfortable great room at Heartline.

The original purpose of Heartline to provide free pregnancy tests and ultrasounds remains the primary focus of their efforts. As a ministry of Trinity Church, Heartline continues to offer a safe and welcoming environment for women to go when they need education and support regarding their pregnancy.

Sponsorship opportunities for the fundraiser are available at several levels, and individual tickets are on sale for $40 each. For more information and to purchase a table or tickets, contact Laura McGrew at 806-788-0500, or visit: www.friendsofheartline.com.
