The Haven Animal Care Shelter needs the public’s help during its annual Christmas for the Animals Donation Drive.
The Haven is a non-profit, no-kill, animal sanctuary which cares for many animals, including special needs and elderly animals.
“Many of these animals have been victims of abuse or neglect and require special care,” the Haven Animal Care Shelter said in a written statement.
“You might also expect to see some of our little fur babies dressed in their Christmas best,” the Haven said.
Donations can be dropped off at the shelter, 4501 North FM 1729, on December 17 and 24. Donations can also be delivered on Tuesday – Friday from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, or items can be dropped off at Merlins Pet Shop, 2611 Boston Avenue.
