High Point Village invites the community to Enrichment Center’s Open House and Ribbon Cutting Thursday, August 11th at 4 p.m. There will be a kitchen dedication ceremony at 4:30pm to honor the United Supermarkets family for designing and furnishing our commercial kitchen. The kitchen will be named “The United Family Kitchen.”
High Point Village enriches the lives of individuals with special needs in by providing educational, social and motivational programs and activities.
The new 10,000 square foot Enrichment Center will be the hub of a 63 acre residential community where individuals with intellectual disabilities can live, learn, work and worship with their peers. The Enrichment Center houses the organization’s daytime classes for adults along with after-school classes serving school-age children. The Enrichment Center also provides space for the administrative offices of High Point Village.
Becky Critz, Executive Director, said “The new facility will allow us to double the number of adults we serve in our day program, and will greatly increase the number and types of classes offered for our Villagers.”
