Texas Tech University Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt held a press conference Sunday afternoon to address the future of the Red Raider football and the future of head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
When asked if Kingsbury would return next season, Holcutt said “absolutely.” He went on to say “I believed in Kliff Kingsbury when we hired him. I believe in Kingsbury today.”
The Texas Tech football team finished this with season five wins and seven losses.
Mr. Hocutt said he was “very disappointed with our performance this football season.” He went on to said there has to be improvement on the field and said he expects it as soon as possible.
Holcutt said “we not very good” when discussing the Red Raider defense and that Kingsbury will be more involved with the defense next season.
