During the noon hour on Monday, volunteer firefighters responded to 1321 Main Street in Ralls.
Officials said there was a fire in an abandoned house which had no electrical or gas hookups. The Ralls VFD said there might have been some dogs in the house, but officials were not certain.
New Deal, Floydada and Crosbyton volunteer firefighters also helped. The house is considered a total loss and there were no reports of injuries.
