Leditt Butler is a barber who loved playing basketball as a kid at the local boys and girls club, and wanted to recreate the feeling he had as a child. He wanted to create a premium basketball league and have a chance to give back to the community. That is how Hub City Street Hoops was created.

Hub City Street Hoops wants to educate, mentor, inspire and encourage youth to believe in themselves and in others in hope of creating and instilling a positive and lasting change.

They are gearing up to hold their Dream Camp and activity week that is for youths ages 12 to 17. This camp starts Monday the 15th and goes until the 19th. They will get to participate in various different sports. The Dream Games are adult basketball games for male and females ages 18 and up. It is $25 per team to play. These games begin on Monday as well and go until the 20th. Saturday, the 20th is a community involvement day at Butler Park at 7th street and Zenith.
