On Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at approximately 3:37 P.M., First responders were dispatched to the area of SW D Street and SW 3rd Street reference to a body being located next to a phone tower.
Responders arrived and cut the lock to the fenced in area and got to the body. The subject was found to be deceased. Preliminary investigation shows the subject apparently fell from the tower. Justice of the Peace Sellers was contacted and arrived at the scene.
The deceased was identified as Corny Wieler Teichroeb, 24 years old, Justice Sellers ordered an autopsy and the body will be taken to Lubbock for the autopsy. Next of kin were located and notified. No foul play is suspected at this time.
