A man wanted out of Jack County on a warrant charging him with sexual assault of a child was capture by the Odessa Police Department Saturday, according to a release from the department.

Police say they noticed a 1999 Dodge Dakota traveling in the 1000 block of University Boulevard with an expired registration and stopped the vehicle.

During the traffic stop, dispatch informed officers that the driver, Jim Wiley McDonald, had a felony warrant out of Jack County charging him with sexual assault of a child, according to the release.

Police then arrested McDonald on the warrant.

Officials with the Jack County District Attorney’s Office confirmed that McDonald has been indicted by a grand jury on the sexual assault of a child charge.
