The Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division arrested six suspects after a two-day, multi-agency investigation in connection with the solicitation of a mi nor.
“DPS is committed to working with our local, state and federal law enforcement partners to identify, pursue and prosecute these dangerous predators,” said Commander Carey Matthews. “We are proud to have participated in this important investigation that was key in putting these suspects behind bars and helping protect Texans from becoming their victims.”
The investigation, led by Criminal Investigations Division Special Agents, was an online undercover effort to identify and apprehend sexual predators participating in the online solicitation of minors.
The DPS Highway Patrol, DPS Aircraft Operations Division, Midland County Sheriff’s Office SWAT, Midland County District Attorney’s Office, Andrews Police Department, Odessa Police Department, Federal Bureau of Investigations and Homeland Security Investigations assisted in this operation.
The following suspects were arrested on state charges for online solicitation of a minor younger than 15, a second-degree felony, and booked into the Midland County Jail:

- Fabian Ray Galindo, 20, Odessa
- Jeremiah Jordan Easley, 27, Midland
- James Shannon Dyche, 41, GrandfalIs
- Lyle Joseph Heinzman, 23, Midland
- Chad Alan Potts, 46, Odessa
