While many folks may have left town for Spring Break, there are several others who stayed in Lubbock to enjoy the warmer temperatures making their way into the week’s forecast.

One way to celebrate the Spring Break weather is by heading to Joyland Amusement Park. The park will be open for their Spring Break specials beginning Wednesday, March 15 through Friday, March 17.

From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., you can enjoy the park’s 30+ rides and attractions. Four people can ride for $44, and it is $12 for singles.

David Dean, owner and president of the park says the park has been serving up fun in the Hub City since 1973, and is continuously looking for ways to update the park and add more attractions.

Dean announced the park will welcome a new rollercoaster in April.
