KAMC Meteorologist Alex O’Brien has the forecast for Monday, September 18, 2017:
TODAY: Starting the week on a warm note, temperatures will be in the low 90s across the South Plains. Mostly sunny in the morning with a 10% chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. They will likely not be of severe category, but heavy downpours and strong wind gusts are threats.
TOMORROW: Drier air begins to move into west Texas. Warm air will drive temperatures to the mid 90s by the afternoon. There is still a 10% chance of isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon.
